THE HAPPY LIFE.
An excellent old ballad written by Sir Henry Wotton, Provost
of Eaton College, in the year, 1659 Sir Henry being then
seventy two years of age.
  How happy is he born or taught
  That serveth not another's will;
  Whose armour is his honest thought,
  And simple truth his highest skill.
